My First Time…

So, on the premier of my first post I feel the pressure to make it sizzle and profound.  After all I want you to be impressed with how deep and original my thinking has become.  Okay, now that that is on the table, here is what I propose.  If at any time you read something here that makes you laugh, think, say umm or ask “what the heck?’ then leave a comment.  Tell me things like, Leonard, that was amazing.  Leonard, you are wise.  Leonard, you reall know your stuff.  Or  say things like… Are you nuts?  What are they putting in the water out there where you live?  Do you have any brain cells still working?  You get the point.

Here is what you can expect:  I am a regular guy whose best subjects in school were PE and Ceramics.  So if you see my participle dangle and want to point it out, I will more than likely check my pants before I check my sentences.  If you see me confuse the words “form” and “from” get over it.  If I choose to end a sentence with a preposition, remember, that is something I will get over.  And if it seems like this blog was written by someone with no clue… remember you read it.

From time to time, when I did not post as fast as I should, feel free to harass me.  When I post something you disagree with, disagree away, I don’t pretend to be right.  I am a pastor, so expect me to sometimes sound preachy.  I think a lot, wrestle with life a lot, wake up at 3 in the morning asking “what if?” and sometimes my thoughts only make sense to me.  But I believe if you are patient with me and read along, comment back, we can have a lot of fun, laugh, learn and well, become a little more of what we might want to become.   So thanks, and off we go now.

  1. Well, that’s one dangerous prayer for you and any who read answered!

Ceramics?? I’m adding that to the “Things I know about Leonard!” lol

    Much love bro!

  2. Am I the first to leave a comment? Do I win a prize? You should really offer prizes on your blog! Also maybe you can change to color of your back ground…it’s a little boring.

  3. “Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which we will not put.”

  4. I am really looking forward to the 3am blog posts!
